1950 Chevy 3100 Sets Early Bar For Barrett-Jackson Vegas

Nearly two-months away, Barrett-Jackson’s final auction of the year, Las Vegas, is always a crowd pleaser and this 1950 Chevrolet 3100 proves to be no exception.

Naturally, cars are being listed everyday as there is still plenty of time and undoubtedly a number of builds that are yet to be completed, but this is not one of them. A custom five-window this truck will be sold in Vegas, not because I’m a soothsayer, but rather it’s offered at no reserve.

The exterior is destined to be a crowd pleaser with a vibrant two-tone paint job, chrome accents and wood bed. Under the hood it’s packing a 350ci LS1 V8 engine with an aluminum block, heads and pistons shaving weight where it can. This 1950 truck also features a factory spec serpentine system and throttle body.

On the inside a clean modern dash, LED lights and new leather bring the truck into present day along with a Kicker system with Pioneer CD/DVD player that will have the new owner bopping and twisting deep into the night.

Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction will take place September 27-29.
