’32 Ford To Cross Block Among Supercars In California

Can you hear it? Faintly in the background… “It’s the most wonderful time of the year.” Sure, Pebble Beach and the accompanying auctions are still over a month out, but at this point we get excited about Christmas in October so why not be excited about this in mid-July?

Naturally, in the coming weeks we’re gonna be treated to our fair share of supercars and exotics, but lets get started with something a little more in our wheelhouse, like this 1932 Ford Roadster. This hot rod is all classic, not only with its Mercury flathead V8 engine, but with its all steel body.

Originally built in the ’30s this Ford found its second life in the 50s when it was transformed into the hot rod you see today. In addition to the V8, it features a Edelbrock Tri-Power intake, three Stromberg 97 carburetors and Offenhauser heads under the hood while the cab and body features luxury to match. Two layers of Wilton wool carpeting, tan leather interior, dark blue paint with yellow wire wheels and chromed suspension, this hot rod was done right.

Scheduled to cross the block at Mecum’s Monterey, CA it will take its place aside some of the most prestigious cars in the world, but do so knowing they will never match its place in history.
