It’s no surprise that Mecum’s Kissimmee auction year in and year out is always stacked deep with some of the best collector cars in the world. With 2020 in the rearview mirror, car auctions are looking to jump right back into the game and start the year off right. From having a 400mph land rocket to a breathtaking Boss 429, how does Mecum up their game this time around? Well, they managed to do it, and it includes Firebirds Vin numbers 001 and 002. 1965 Shelby 427 Cobra Roadster- Owned by Carroll Shelby

-Carroll Shelby’s personal 427 Cobra since new until his passing

-Ground-up Concours restoration completed in 2019 to exacting 1965 specifications by renowned Cobra restorers Legendary Motorcar Company

-Original body and chassis

-Aluminum head 427 side oiler engine with dual 4-barrel carburetors
