’57 Dodge Power Wagon Is Resto Mod Truck Of Dreams

No doubt that the resto mod trend is all the rage, and has been for sometime, but what’s unique to the trend is something of this stature. And not stature in terms of importance, but in the more literal sense of height. We’ve seen muscle cars and lowered trucks, but a lifted resto mod like this 1957 Dodge Power Wagon is a rare treat.

By the looks of things the 2-year, 2,000 hour build that went into this truck is no surprise. It features a rebuilt 5.9-liter Cummins diesel with a 48RE 4-speed automatic transmission under the hood and a beautiful it is. The exterior is painted Ferrari Grigio Silverstone and glossed over with seven coats of clear. The bed is made up of white oak maintaining the old school Power Wagon look that we’ve come to know and love.

Rolling on Fuel Off-Road wheels wrapped in 37-inch Toyo RT tires this Dodge is all 0ff-road on the exterior, but the interior features the modern comforts common of a resto mod. The seats up front are Cadillac bucket seats, the sound stems from an Alpine infotainment system and speakers and all that is kept in the cab by way of Dynamat sound proofing. A rarity as a Power Wagon, this retro mod example is one-of-a-kind and seeks a pretty penny at Barrett-Jackson’s upcoming Las Vegas auction.
