A Mustang Station Wagon? We need some answers!

When you’re scrolling through Craigslist, frankly, you find the oddest sh*t. Case and point, this 1966 Mustang Station Wagon project. Don’t get us wrong, we don’t like to shame anyone with what they decide to do with their car. It’s their money after all. But just because you can, definitely doesn’t mean that you should. We get our fair share of comments saying “All Gas Money does is ruin classics”. We just wanna say, next time the keyboard warriors think of typing that again, just think back to this Mustation Wagon (this creation doesn’t even have a great nickname either).

Okay let’s not be too critical on it, after all, people creating their own custom Mustang Wagons isn’t such a new thing. It’s been widely rumored that back in the day Ford actually made 2 of these, and since then some Mustang owners have wanted to actually bring that concept to the open road. One big detail missing on this Craigslist wagon is that it’s missing the rear windows. So instead of the iconic station wagon look, well, it resembles more of a pony hearse (new nickname? Maybe).

Under the hood is a high-performance small-block that “runs good”, along with headers and a dual exhaust running all the way to the back. Even though it looks like this project was put on hold, it does run, so you’ll just need a fresh paint job to protect that custom bodywork. Oh, and how could we forget about the last detail that really sets off the aesthetic of this Wagon. Flames on the hood. No further explanation needed.

Wanna save this Mustang and bring it back to its former glory? Want to keep this project going and prove us all wrong? It’s still up for sale on Craigslist now for $8,900.
