An MSO Gulf Livery Senna Is The Best Senna

Well, after three-time Formula 1 champ Ayrton Senna who the car is named. If unfamiliar, there are numerous documentaries you can check out because reading is a thing of the past (sobs quietly into keyboard), but for now, just know he has the most McLaren victories in team history with 35, including six Monaco Grand Prix victories.

All the reason that this incredible McLaren was named for the legendary driver. The 2019 McLaren Senna alone is a car to be highly desired as it’s limited to just 500 units, but this one is even more special as it carries an over $190,000 MSO paint job honoring the famed Gulf Oil livery in Iridium Blue. In addition to the livery, and all the things that make a stock Senna wonderful, this one boasts “air-conditioning, a Bowers & Wilkins seven-speaker audio system, the McLaren track telemetry app, three-point harnesses, a bespoke black Alcantara steering wheel, orange upholstery stitching, branded floor mats, and ultra-lightweight nine-spoke wheels.”

The car features McLaren’s most powerful ICE ever, a twin-turbocharged 4-liter V-8. This provides the car with 789hp and 590lb.-ft. of torque equating to a 0-62mph time of 2.8-seconds and doubles that speed in just 6.8-seconds. All this en route to a top speed of 208mph. This rare piece of automotive ingenuity honoring one of the greats will cross the block this month at RM Sotheby’s Arizona auction with a projected sale price of $1,100,000 – $1,250,000 and just 192 miles on the odometer.
