De Tomaso Teases Comeback At Goodwood

Gas Monkey is no stranger to De Tomaso having had two Panteras come and go through the garage, each earning significant screen time on Fast N’ Loud. Having revived a couple of our own through the years we were stoked to learn today that the famed manufacturer will officially be making a comeback this summer.

Details on the car are still non-existent, but we do have a name, kinda. Project P, as it’s being called will officially debut on July 4th at the history Goodwood Festival of Speed in celebration of the manufacturer’s 60th anniversary. Now owned by Apollo Automobil the car will feature an updated logo and while that’s not a groundbreaking spec, they’re still keeping details pretty under wraps.

While odds are good the reveal is only a prototype, we imagine it will be one fairly near to a production model as to fully capitalize on the comeback after all these years. No matter what, we’ll be patiently waiting for the next-generation of car that has become engrained in not only Gas Monkey’s history, but the automotive worlds.
