Gas Monkey’s Latest C10 Project!

While we are all getting into the holiday mood, that doesn’t mean work slows down for us here at the shop! With just a few weeks left in 2019, we figured there was just enough time to get one last build in before the end of the year.

Typically here at Gas Monkey Garage, we don’t take on many client builds nor do we take over projects that are already in process, but this latest build presented us with something we just couldn’t pass up. A friend of the shop reached out to us in dire need of help with his 1967 Chevrolet C10. He had taken it to another garage a while ago, and a couple of years later as well as a few commas, this truck was far from finished. With hopes of having his truck done by the end of his football season (not going to name drop just yet, but hint hint) and our availability to take on one last build for the year, the puzzle pieces fit together just right.

With some components of the build already being done, some yet to be touched, and some needing to be redone, this was going to be an interesting build for us.  After getting a rendering, talking with the client, and putting in some of our ideas, we were able to have a blueprint for how we wanted this truck to turn out and have been busting ourselves to make sure its finished to our usual standards before we break for the holidays… And with an LS3 under the hood, this truck is already off to a great start!

Have any ideas for this C10 build? Make sure to let us know what you think we should do on our social media. Stay tuned to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep up with the entire build process and see how Gas Monkey Garage takes another crack at a C10!
