Ken Block Drops Gymkhana TEN: The Can-Am Special

Ken Block and The Hoonigans are their own worst enemy. Following peak Gymkhana (for me that was Gym 5 in San Francisco, the first which seemed to me like it had a slew of resources behind it to truly do what they wanted) they’re constantly having to one up themselves and as we’ve seen through time, sequels are rarely as good as the original.

The latest installment under the Gymkhana banner is “Gymkhana TEN: The Can-Am Special.” As one would guess it features his Can-Am, a Maverick X3 XRS turbo, which is not entirely new to Ken’s content creation, running the exact same Guanajuato, Mexico course he ran in Gym 10. An interesting premise, but what made this route particularly unique in Gymkhana 10 was the visuals it provided for his Ford Focus RS RX rallycross car and those are static elements which would have looked cool with a Jetta blasting through. Honestly, I’m a little surprised by this release as I thought Gymkhana 10 would be the last of the series and while one could argue this doesn’t really count as part of the canon, it certainly doesn’t do the name justice.

Checkout the latest installment for yourselves.
