Like New ’67 Shelby GT500 Fastback Looking For Mile-High Sale

Is it Mustang Week at Gas Monkey or something?! Nah, it’s just good things come in threes (or is that famous deaths?). No matter, because this 1967 Shelby GT500 Fastback will bring you back to life with a smile on your face.

Where to start where to start… This ’67 Shelby GT500 might be over 50 years old, but like any real housewife will tell you we have the tools these days to make anything look young again. Having undergone a Concours Restoration this ’67 has been restored to like-new quality and with the original owner’s manual and keys accompanying it you’ll be instantly transported back to muscle car’s golden era.

One of just 118 finished in the striking Nightmist Blue this Shelby GT500 has been a part of the same family collection since the 1990s, but they look to part with it this weekend at Mecum’s Denver auction. The car features the original number matching 428 CI Police interceptor engine, original and rebuilt 4-barrel Holley carbs and number matching transmission. I did it say it was like new after all. On top of looking like new, its mileage is like new with just 24,000 on the odometer though the years.

A car of this caliber is few and far between, and I mean that quite literally as only 2,044 were made in ’67.
