Petty’s Garage Ford Mustang GT Being Offered For Charity

This one-of-a-kind Ford Mustang GT combines two of the biggest names in motorsports, Richard Petty and Ford Mustang. A 2015 model year Mustang GT this build was completed and debuted by Petty’s Garage that same year. Following its debut it was named one of the top five Mustangs at the 2015 SEMA Show and landed a spot on the BASF 2015 calendar.

BASF acknowledged the build as a result of the three candy colors utilized in the paint scheme, but it’s the 825hp 5-liter engine with Whipple supercharger tuned by Petty’s Garage which truly impresses. The one-off Mustang rides on an air-ride suspension with HRE wheels and Wilwood brakes to bring it all to a stop. On the inside it’s all Richard Petty featuring alligator leather seats and his signature.

One-hundred percent of the hammer price of this Petty’s Garage Mustang will go to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity that supports veterans and their families. The winning bidder of the Thursday, April 11th auction will also receive an original rendering of the build signed by Richard Petty. The car is slated to cross the block at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach at 2:30pm EDT.
