Rare Chevy Camaro Yenko Stage 2 Seeks New Home

We talked about Yenko Chevrolet’s a good amount, but that’s because they hit the trifecta of what attracts people to cars: they perform, they’re rare and they’re expensive.

This 2019 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko Stage 2 is headed to Florida this weekend where it will cross the block at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach, but it’s anyone’s guess as to whether it will find a new garage as it’s listed with a reserve. However, if it does sell the new owner will be taking home a highly modified Camaro from one of the most respected names in the game. Just how modified? It features a 6.8-liter LT1 engine and uses “a forged 4340 steel crankshaft, forged H-beam connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons” to handle the 1,000hp it’s putting out.

On top of the performance upgrades which go beyond just the engine is the fact that these cars, despite being new, are very rare. This is one of 25 produced and better yet, this is #1 of the 25 produced. As we all know performance and exclusivity comes at a price and that price is $66,995. If you’re thinking, “that’s not too bad for what you get” that’s on top of the Camaro’s MSRP. So all in you’re looking closer to $100,000 for this car new if you were to scoop one just from Yenko and it will be interesting to see how the market feels about that price tag at auction this weekend.
