Rare Lamborghini Miura SV Looks To Fetch Over $2 Million

Already one of the rarer and desired cars of the world, as evident by Richard’s dream to one day have one of his own, this Lamborghini Miura is even rarer for a multitude of factors.

For starters, only 150 Miura SVs were built which according to RM Sotheby’s equates to only 20% of the entire production run. This example is a 1971 which was the first year the car was offered and only 70 built that year. Furthermore, only 30 had the air condition option, this being one, and only 11 being single-sump Miura SVs and guess what, this is one.

Finished in Rosso Corsa (or Ferrari Red) the finish was the most popular for the Miura at the time. Chassis no. 4920 this classic Italian roadster features the original engine capable of 390hp and a 0-60 time of 5.8-second en route to a 180mph top speed.

Projected to fetch anywhere from $2.2-2.4 million at RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction this car is destined to be a fan favorite and make some new owner very happy, albeit lighter in the wallet, and maybe that owner will be Richard?
