Richard Rawlings and Gas Monkey Foundation Make Huge Donation For First Responders!

What a start to 2020. Hopefully, we aren’t your source for earth-shattering world news, but if you haven’t heard already, 2020 has been a real kick to the nads of a year ( World War 3 almost breaking out, COVID-19, and the internet is flooded with 14-year-olds dancing).

I’ll stay away from quoting numbers that we’ve all heard a million times and since we aren’t scientists or have any medical experience, we’ll stay away from telling you what you should and shouldn’t do. Instead, we’ll focus on creating hope. Focus on the good. Focus on the men and women working around the clock, tirelessly, while the rest of us get to binge-watch Tiger King. We’re focusing on the First Responders.

Richard Rawlings and The Gas Monkey Foundation set out on a mission to make an impact during this global pandemic. With a little help from Barnhart Transportation, ShipSmith, and our friend TV producer Franco Porporino, what started off as a crazy idea, became a reality. You can hear exactly what Richard Rawlings and this amazing team have stepped up to do and support our first responders below.

In times like this, it’s important we all help out any way that we can! Barnhart Transportation, LLC and ShipSmith teamed up with Gas Monkey Foundation for one legendary way for us to help out during the COVID-19 crisis. Watch to see what we’re up to!

That was just the beginning. The owner of Barnhart Transportation didn’t just want his company to involved in this project, he wanted to personally deliver the first couple of donations. You can see all the action kickoff below

With just a few stops down, we still have a long way to go to get all of this inventory to first responders across the country. With 13 truckloads of Gas Monkey Energy Drink, these trucks don’t plan on stopping any time soon.

If you would like to help make an impact, you can donate

This is a time where we all have to come together, work together (6ft apart), and support those that are working hard in our planets time of need.

To all of the truck drivers, police officers, nurses, doctors, firefighters, EMT’s, volunteers, essential workers, people staying home and preventing the spread, and anyone that is doing their part during this time, from everyone here at Gas Monkey and all of our companies, from the bottoms of our hearts…thank you.
