Spotted: Bronco/Raptor Prototype

As the excitement of the new Bronco from its official unveiling carries on, Ford has added some more fuel to the fire. This time it’s the Ford Bronco “Warthog”, the rumored codename for the Raptor edition Bronco.

Spotted in heavy camouflage on the Michigan streets by one of the admins on the Bronco6G forums, you can still tell a lot about this prototype. The camouflage can only hide some much, and what is evident is that this prototype is sporting some huge fender flares. How very Ford Raptor -esque of it.

The forum points out it’s sitting on BFG AT All-Terrain T/A tires, and it looks to be sitting higher than the other Broncos we’ve already seen. Let’s hope we continue to see more of it and get more concrete answers on what to expect from the Warthog.

One thing we know for sure, similar to F150 owners, you’ll see plenty of Bronco owners start with the stock model and attempt to “Raptor-ize” their new ride. We’re looking at all of y’all that bolt on some fender flares and add the huge F O R D letters to your grill.

We’ll continue to update this article as more information is discovered, so come back to check-in periodically.
