Super Rare Camaro Black Panther Up For Grabs

This Black Panther may very well be more rare than Wakanda itself. Which is pretty amazing considering this Black Panther isn’t fictitious.

A 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Black Panther this car is one of 50 sold at Gorries Downtown Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Already a rarity with numbers like that this car would go against all odds and be one of just three known to still exist and of those three the only with the original body and engine. The car is believed to have 52,343 miles. To help make sure that the car continues to defy odds and survive for decades more, it underwent a frame-off restoration which was completed in 2002.

Under the hood of this Camaro is the original 327cu.-in. V8 engine packing 210hp and features an automatic transmission. The black and gold finish throughout though is what you truly notice about the Black Panther giving it an almost Trans Am vibe. The exterior features black and gold striping which is mirrored in the interior which has Gold Deluxe bucket seats and the optional “007 panel” of non-functioning gold switches.

This rare Camaro will be offered this weekend at Mecum Auctions’ Chicago auction beginning Thursday and running through Saturday.
