Take This ’55 Chevy From Truckin’ Magazine To Your Garage

Known to Truckin‘ magazine and readers of as the “McHenry’s Golden Nugget” this 1955 Chevrolet 3100 is as aptly named as it is well built.

In 2014 this ’55 underwent a frame-off restoration and since then has seen only some 3000 miles put on it. However, given the attention to detail and the 5.7-liter Vortec engine there is little doubt that this beauty could handle all the miles you wish to throw at her. Additional upgrades to this 3100 include, “Ride Tech air-ride suspension, TCI Mustang II independent suspension, disc brakes and custom stainless-steel side exhaust.”

The exterior body was shaved and smoothed before being painted Gold Nugget Kandy which is, obviously, the first thing you notice. The box frame is finished in Valspar Corvette Copper with pinstripes while an oak bed rounds out the exterior. The interior is equally as lush with custom leather, sound system and air conditioning.

Perfect for cruising on a hot summer day, this 3100 heads to Barrett-Jackson Northeast next week.
