The Marty Nelson Collection Heads To Auction

If you don’t know who Marty Nelson is, get in line. In 1973 Marty went into business with his dad and brother starting Form-A-Feed, a company that makes “custom-formulated feed products for livestock.” Given the extent of Marty’s collection he’s bringing to auction with Mecum in Phoenix it’s safe to say that the custom feed business was a lucrative one.

In all, Marty is bringing 32 cars to Phoenix for the March 14-16th auction with the bulk of the lots being 50s and 60s era, but some pre-war and modern cars scattered throughout as well. Below we take a look at some of the eclectic and classic offerings from the Marty Nelson Collection.

1941 CADILLAC COUPE

-Small block V8
-Custom pink
-Custom pink and white interior

1960 CHEVROLET IMPALA CONVERTIBLE

-Frame off restoration
-348 CI tri-power big-block V8
-Won multiple awards

1967 PONTIAC FIREBIRD

-400 CI V8 engine
-Rare Coronado Gold paint
-Rally II wheels and Redline tires

Also for good measure, the collection is bringing a 1 of 125 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO and a 1932 Ford Panel Delivery.
