The New Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe Has Arrived

Chevrolet revamps their flagship SUVs, Suburban and Tahoe, for the 2021 model year! While it seems like the icons would have been maxed out in terms of interior space and power, looks can be deceiving. The new Tahoe boasts 66% more cargo space in the rear, while the Suburban found 19% more cargo space behind the first row.

Under the hood their is an all-new offering of a 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine as well as a revamped line of V-8 engines with Dynamic Fuel Management. Additionally, all engines will feature a ten-speed automatic transmission with an electric push button shifter. The new turbo-diesel brings the engine offerings to three for the 2021 alongside the 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8s with 277hp, 350hp and 420hp, respectively. Though varying horsepower the diesel and 6.2-liter V8 each offer 460lb.-ft. of torque with the 5.3-liter option packing 383lb.-ft. of torque.

While we’re more about the work aspect of a new SUV, Chevy stepped it up with their in-car entertainment for the 2021 model year.

Via Chevrolet:

-Chevrolet infotainment system3 with a 10-inch-diagonal color touchscreen is standard

-An 8-inch-diagonal, configurable color instrument and information cluster is standard on Premier and High Country; a 4.2-inch-diagonal color driver information center is standard on LS, LT, RST and Z71
